CDL DRIVERS NEEDED
Anchor Tank Lines Corp. currently employs over 300 drivers serving our tri-state customers with quality dependable service. We have an immediate need for CDL Drivers in each of our four terminal locations. Permanent full time positions are available in Astoria, New York; Bayshore, Long Island; Matawan, New Jersey and Newburgh, New York. Driver needs are for the delivery of heating fuels, diesel and gasoline, jet fuels, liquid asphalt and dry bulk cement products.A CDL class "A" drivers license with Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements are required. We require at least one year tractor-trailer experience and a driving record reflecting no more than two moving violations over the last 24 months. Applications and a basic mathematical skills test are available at each terminal location. Also, each applicant must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and a DOT physical.
Each new driver receives comprehensive vocational, compliance and Smith System Defensive Driver training. This union position offers fully paid medical, dental, prescription plan, and life insurance coverage.
